Accred Prog/Adapt 3/4 Track - Participants will learn how to ski and teach with outriggers.
Accred Prog/Adapt Blind/DD - Will provide participants with methods to creatively and safely teach these special skiers.
Accred Prog/Adapt Mono/Bi - Participants will be introduced to and experience first hand a mono-ski or bi-ski. Instructors will learn some basic teaching methods for these pieces of equipment.
Adapt ATS and Personal Ski Improvement - Provide knowledge of the American Teaching System and why it is the basis for ski teaching for persons with and without disabilities. The course also provides personal ski improvement for each participant.
Adapt Dealing With Autism Spectrum Disorder - A two-day classroom and on-snow session takes a comprehensive look at Autism Spectrum Disorder and how to answer the questions arising from ski school programs that are noticing the prevalence in their lessons and want to know how to efficiently teach these students.
Adapt Everything Bi-Ski From Beginning to End - The course will cover student assessment, fitting, teaching, lift usage, and tethering for the Bi Ski and much more.
Adapt Experiential Mono Skiing - These two days are geared for you to learn to mono-ski. There is plenty of hill time as well as complete background information on the equipment, proper fitting and general concerns for the mono-skier.
Adapt Exploring Snowboard Techniques I - This two day on snow clinic will help candidates prepare for the Level I or II Adaptive Snowboard Certification Exam. You will have time to experience the most current methodologies in Adaptive Snowboarding, while understanding and practicing the required AASI standards.
Adapt Exploring Snowboard Techniques II - This two day on snow clinic will help the Level I or II Certified member continue their education towards the next level of Adaptive Snowboard Certification. This course will explore the most current methodologies in Adaptive Snowboarding, while understanding and practicing the AASI standards. Participants registering for this course should be comfortable riding on blue and/or groomed black terrain.
Adapt Intro to Adaptive World - A must have course for the new Adaptive Instructor or seasoned Snowsports Instructor wishing to gain knowledge of Adaptive Ski teaching. The course will cover basic disability and equipment knowledge and usage.
Adapt Level I Exam Prep - The objective is to provide attendees with a full description of the exam format and requisite standards, plus provide on-snow time for many of the exam requirements. Any and all questions will be entertained and encouraged.
Adapt Level II/III Exam Prep - The objective is to provide attendees with a full description of the exam format and requisite standards, plus provide on-snow time for many of the exam requirements. Any and all questions will be entertained and encouraged.
Adapt Mainstreaming Tactics - This two day clinic will explore managing students with challenges into a class situation. What are the red flags that may indicate there is an issue and how to develop methodologies to handle challenges within a group setting.
Adapt Spring Rally - Anything goes here. Level I to advanced - we will service any of your needs. Usually this event is fun and light hearted; you dictate the amount of information you want.
Adapt Tethering Imp for Stand-up, Slider and Bi Ski - Tethering - practical hands-on experience tethering all equipment with coaching and feedback.
