AASI Exam Prerequisites

  • Snowboard Level II or Level III Exam Prep
  • Snowboard Movement Analysis
  • Snowboard Riding Concepts
  • Snowboard Teaching Improvement

You must attend at least one prerequisite course before attending the Level II Certification Course. You must attend at least one prerequisite course before attending the Level III Certification Course. Certain feature courses may also qualify as a prerequisite. The purpose of the prerequisite is to guarantee that each candidate has access to educational materials and answers to any questions about the Certification Course before arriving at the course. Educational courses focus on riding and education, not the Certification Course itself. It is your responsibility to seek answers to questions not specifically covered in the AASI Level II-III Exam Guide.

Please keep in mind:

  • Participation in an AASI Exam prerequisite event will be applicable toward exam participation for the season in which it is taken and the following two seasons.
  • There are registration closing dates for all courses.
  • Some events may have other restrictions as far as limited attendance, etc.
  • Please refer to the schedule for registration and restriction details.
